Helping Hand: Frozen
Lily’s hand was another first for the MORE Foundation team to create because we worked remotely with her family through video conferencing technology since she lives halfway across the country. This dynamic Six-year-old was gifted a Frozen themed hand in honor of Queen Elsa, her favorite Disney character.
Lily’s Helping Hand is a wrist powered prosthetic. This means that with the bend of her wrist, Lily can control the fingers of the hand and use it just like anyone else. Since receiving her Helping Hand, Lily can do everyday activities such as get dressed, tie her shoes, and gained the confidence of a Disney queen she once did not have before.
