The MORE Foundation’s charitable programs and services meet the needs of military veterans and others who want to Keep Life in Motion®
Veterans Transportation Assistance Program
Many military veterans need physical or financial assistance for transportation to and from important medical appointments. Through our Veterans Transportation Assistance Program, or V-TAP, the MORE Foundation subsidizes transportation for veterans in metropolitan Phoenix.
Through a partnership between the MORE Foundation and the e-NABLE Foundation, we will use 3D printing technology to create custom prosthetic hands for children in need – at no cost to recipients. These prosthetics can be frequently resized as the child grows, until they reach maturity and receive a more permanent prosthesis.
Pedals to the Medals
Building on the experience of the MORE Foundation’s cycling team, Pedals to the Medals will restore donated bicycles and provide them to children in need. The program also will lead community fitness rides, teach bicycle safety and sports nutrition, and encourage healthy lifestyles. The program culminates in our “Ride N’ Raise” veterans’ charity race.
Become an MVP!
MORE Volunteers for Patients share their time, talents and compassion with patients and guests at The CORE Institute and other community medical facilities. MVPs offer warm welcomes, answer questions and facilitate healthcare requests. In return, they explore careers and opportunities in health care while enjoying the satisfaction of knowing they are helping others.
