Matthew Fryberger is the Sports Med Physical Therapy Manager at Phoenix Children's Hospital, focusing on young and adolescent athletes. Mr. Fryberger received a Masters of Physical Therapy from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA. He is an US Swimming Certified Coach and an US Soccer National Coach. He is the Assistant Swim Coach at Mesa HIgh School and Head Coach of the Laveen Football Club.

  1. Identify the contributing factors to neck and shoulder pain in high school aged swimmers.
  2. Appropriately select individualized treatment options for young swimmers with shoulder pain.
  3. Determine when a referral to sports primary care specialist is warranted.
